Pam and Stephen have been married for 30 years. Twenty of those years have been spent pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors in partnership. They have launched and grown a number of companies including a health care facility, a real estate development company, and a consulting practice. Through their tenacious pursuit, they grew their health care, first to a 2-site center with $3.5 million in annual revenue, 35 employees and tens of thousands of patient visits annually. They then negotiated and sold their practice to a large regional hospital. Following the merger, the couple incorporated meticulous leadership skills and business acumen. Pam's financial prowess, intuitiveness, and thoughtfulness on workplace culture and Stephen's vision, wit, and comprehensive understanding of medicine led the hospital division to 11 sites, $20 million in revenue and exceeding 140,000 annual patient visits as of 2018.

The Hassetts are active in the local community and participate in a number of charitable activities and events. These include local Emergency Medical Services, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and the YMCA including a capital building campaign. They have been board members and supporters of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northeastern New York for over 15 years. The Hassetts and their 4 children reside near Albany, NY and in their free time together, enjoy reading, writing, NYC theatre district, culinary pursuits and outdoor activities.
